Come and join Inspiral and our tutor Denise Groves-Arnold as we demonstrate to you the art of Hopi Candling.
Ear Candling dates back as far as the Ancient Greeks, but it is only with the Native American tribes that we first find it being performed regularly in the modern world. This has given rise to the name Hopi Candling, which, although not strictly accurate, gives us a name for this treatment that has become so popular in the West.
Ear Candling is used by the tribes to cleanse the aura - the spiritual energy - and also helps with a range of other issues including :
* Tension headaches and stress
* Congested sinuses
The candles are in fact hollow tubes soaked in honey, sage, St Johns Wort and camomile.
Camomile – anti-inflammatory and gentle anti-spasmodic sedative
Sage - stimulates the lymph, increases circulation
St. John’s Wort - restorative tonic for the nervous system
They are gently inserted into the ear, and allowed to burn down.
This treatment is one that your clients will book time and time again, as it is relaxing and calming - a great escape from our busy world.
This qualification course is running on the 17th of April, and costs £70.00
