Many people ask why they need a specific Animal Reiki qualification, when they have been using "people reiki" with a degree of success.

At Inspiral, we believe animals are pure spirits and do not understand that they can be "cured" - if they are sick, or in pain, they accept that this is their "lot" and it cannot be changed. They are unable to tell us if they are ill, and their experience with humans may not always have been a happy one.

An Animal Reiki Healer knows how to connect energetically with an animal, and find in its energy feelings of comfort and compassion, which can then be transmuted into healing energy. It is then possible to build a bond of trust, and healing can take place.
